The Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses Shane Hazel

Melbourne, FL – The Republican Liberty Caucus is proud to endorse Shane Hazel for Georgia’s 7th Congressional District. Shane is a husband, father of three children, a former Marine, and self described Limited Government Republican.

“The Oath I swore to uphold the Constitution means more now than it ever has. Democrats and establishment Republicans have usurped the constraints of the Constitution and arbitrarily grown their power at the expense of all Americans and their inalienable rights, turning a blind eye to the values and principles you and I share. With a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, I pledge to you my life, my fortune, and my sacred Honor.”

Hazel has pledged to serve only four terms if elected and would work to eliminate the Departments of Veterans Administration, Education, and the IRS. He is running on a platform that is virtually identical to the principles of the Republican Liberty Caucus. We are proud to support such a principled candidate. We whole heartedly encourage Republicans to help elect Shane Hazel.

His major concern is government spending. He spoke out against the $1.3 Trillion Dollar Omnibus Bill when it passed and stated that the national debt was not only irresponsible it was a security issue. The Republican Liberty Caucus agrees with Polce’s assessments on government regulations, overreach, and spending and we encourage all Republicans to help elect Nick Polce.

Melbourne, FL – The Republican Liberty Caucus is proud to endorse Allen Chesser II for North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District. His campaign is centered around three fundamental principles: faith, family, and freedom. “I believe in principles, and I believe that principles require action. So, not only do I have a belief pattern, but I believe it is incumbent upon me to take action to thereby show people principles. Principles without action are just rhetoric.” Chesser is combat veteran, law enforcement officer, and a self described Constitutional Conservative.

He’s committed to not only fight to keep government operating within its Constitutional bounds but also to bring term limits to Congress. He cites the ineffectiveness of Congressional leaders as a major factor in his decision to run for office. He will bring his principled time tested leadership experience with him should the people of North Carolina elect him to be their congressman. The Republican Liberty Caucus supports candidates who adhere to principles and act upon them. We encourage Republicans to help elect Allen Chesser.

REPUBLICAN LIBERTY CAUCUS APPLAUDS SENATOR RAND PAUL’S EFFORTS TO RESTORE FISCAL SANITY IN WASHINGTON DC

MELBOURNE, FL -Last week Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) issued a video statement via social media. In the video he said that, according to Senate rules, if the leadership and/or the Budget Committee did not submit a budget plan for 2019, he would introduce one himself.

Paul went on to say that when Republicans were elected they were expected to keep their word, work to rein in spending, shrink government, cut the deficit, and to put forward a plan to balance the budget. He later tweeted his proposal would balance the budget within five years and would include “spending cuts across the board” including welfare and entitlement reforms that would “bring our fiscal house in order.”

Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) National Chair Matt Nye praised Paul for his efforts.

“In order to get a handle on spending, we must see a return to regular order and Congress must pass a real budget,” Nye said. “Passing a balanced budget should be a basic and routine responsibility of the federal government, yet we haven’t had a balanced budget since 2001.”

This is not the first time Senator Paul has called for fiscal responsibility. In January 2017, Senator Paul issued a similar statement and plan. He spoke on the Senate floor for nearly 10 minutes explaining his plan. The proposal was rejected by a 14-83 vote. His speech can be viewed at –

It’s been more than a year since then, and despite Republican control of all three houses, the country’s fiscal crisis has only grown worse with the passage of the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill last month.

“The most recent spending bill was a betrayal of the voters who gave Republicans control of Congress and the White House,” said Matt Nye, RLC National Chairman. “We encourage all Republicans to keep their campaign promises, and to vote in accordance with the basic Republican principles of less government, lower taxes and more personal freedom.”
